I drank some of this for the first time last night. At first I was enjoying it, but about half way through I noticed a particularly strong buttery aftertaste. I tried a second and got the same thing. Is this normal for this beer, or do I have a handling problem with the vendor?Cheers,Rich

I should mention that the 6er was warm and I chilled it that day. Not sure if it matters.

While it's not my favorite Rogue beer, I've never noticed that flavor in it.

I've read a few reviews that describe it as honey and buttery biscuit flavors in there.I'll have to try another bottle from a different vendor.

Well, the ones I had a definite butter flavor. I'm not ready to write it off yet. I must sample some more.Cheers,Rich
