I drank some of this for the first time last night. At first I was enjoying it, but about half way through I noticed a particularly strong buttery aftertaste. I tried a second and got the same thing.Is this normal for this beer, or do I have a handling problem with the vendor?Cheers,Rich

I should mention that the 6er was warm and I chilled it that day. Not sure if it matters.

I just read a good review and that flavor seems to be on purpose. Meh, not for me. Cheers,Rich

While it's not my favorite Rogue beer, I've never noticed that flavor in it.

I've read a few reviews that describe it as honey and buttery biscuit flavors in there.I'll have to try another bottle from a different vendor.

Well, the ones I had a definite butter flavor. I'm not ready to write it off yet. I must sample some more.Cheers,Rich
