Red November Sauce (#2) t= teaspoon28 oz tomato puree3.5 t sucrose1.25 t ordinary saltAll of the herbs & spices (see below)1.25 t garlic powder1.5 t onion powderherbs & spices (dried & crushed)earthy component1/2 t oregano1/4 t marjoram1/8 t parsleysweet component1/2 t basil1/4 t tarragon1/8 t fennel seedsavory component1/4 t rosemary1/4 t thymespicy component1/8 t paprika1/8 t black pepperInstructions:Add the sucrose (table sugar) and salt to the sauce first and whisk. In a separate sealable container measure and mix all the herbs and spices as well as the garlic and onion powders Add 1/4 cup of room tempt.water.Microwave on low for 50 seconds.Dont let mixture go above 160 F.Add the herbs and spices to the puree. Whisk and place in refrigerator to chill for at least 6 hours before using.
