I liked this one too. A little too much the other night actually but I could use a little more rye.

I tried it for the first time yesterday. The brewer at Ladyface Alehouse had it in his frig. Very tasty. I bought a 12 pack today. Well done SN

It's good. I liked it.Yesterday I picked up a single of Founders Red Rye. Been a long time since I'd tried it, and I thought I'd give it a try since it was extremely fresh (love that they bottle date now!). Damn, that's a fine beer. I went back and bought a sixer today.

So if I understand correctly Glissade is no more?Did the public perception that SNBC only makes hoppy beers kill it?and Basser still not on the website...

I am guessing we should look for it late January to mid February. Being in a smaller store now (for the time being) means I get the rookie reps who are clueless. IMHO BDC is not the greatest distributor anyway and if they are going to carry beer they should hire some people that are passionate about it or at least make sure their reps are informed. Meaning no one really has an idea until it hits the warehouse.

I did think Glissade was worthy of a SNBC release. Ruthless Rye is much more in line. That being said, I feel like this beer was phoned in. It is good for sure, but it is like the brewers were like, "We tried Glissade and you pissed on it. Fine, take our regular hop profile with a touch of rye in a pale ale." It is a good beer, but after the last few new releases and versions of seasonals, I expected a bit more.
