Guys I have a Chillzilla counter flow wort chiller after I finish brewing I flush it with water and then fill it with star san for a short period. I dump the star san and camp the ends. I would like to fill the chiller with some liquid for long term storage but can't use star san long term as it will continue to eat the copper. I can't use plain water as it can develop mold or other things. I thought maybe a solution of iodophor would work and not eat the copper. What are your thoughts? What methods have any of you guys used?

I run hot (warm will work too) PBW through it to clean. Rinse with clean water, blow with co2 to dry. Cap ends and store. No need to store with liquid.

I ruined one a few years ago by storing it with liquid in it.(Iodaphor/water). It froze and the inner tube split open. I was able to salvage some of it for other uses, but I store my new(er) one dry now.
