Andy: Acid #5 -- is that phosphoric/nitric acid? I thought I recall you ordering it.

Hey Mike,Yeah. The only reason i got some was to repassify some nasty SS tanks. Under normal wear and tear its really not needed.

I kinda fell down on the job here and let this slide. Sorry about that. :)Right now it looks like we've got 1/3 of a pallet, if everyone is still in. Is that worth it?

Not to get your GB thread off track, but do any of you guys know if there additional price breaks over the catalog prices when you order by the pallet?

Well don't tell the guy who owns the place that you fell down. He doesn't run any insurance on this jalopy operation and he'll fire your butt and say you never worked here so you can't sue him. :rolf:I'm still in but I'm not sure if it's worth it. What's the shipping break down? </lazy>

Man, there is a lot of you guys out there in Michigan. I'll have to remember that next time I'm out that way visiting my dad who lives in Sanford.

You get a price break at 36 saks. 42 makes a pallet. So shipping and sak cost is the same for 36-42 saks, minus any chemicals which will have a $15 HazMat fee max. Next price break of course is the next pallet.Edit: Shipping one pallet to Ks. is no more than $100 including taxes on freight.

Last night I spoke with my uncle who lives near Scott and he's in for 5 sacks of grain. I'll act as the proxy for him and tack it on for my order just to keep things simple. He also wanted the info so he could get it to the brew club in Grand Rapids because he thinks they would probably want to get in on this as well.

What info do you need? Or are you just talking about the pricing info linked above?

He's old and works on things a bit slower so I'll give him a ring at the end of this week.

No response from the guys over in GR so it'd probably be best to move on without them.

It's well past time for me to admit that I don't have time to organize this. Anyone want to take up the task?

Booo! Hang him!J/KNo worries. It looks as if we don't have enough of an order to go through with it and might be a good idea to just call the group buy off, for now. We can always revisit it at a later date when more people who need more grain.
