if he really wants to go all in, he'll pick a more revolutionary style republican. not a perry or a paul, but maybe huntsman or johnson. romney has the middle that wants a change from obama. he's got the normal repubs by default. a huntsman or a johnson, particularly johnson, will help him obtain more of that libertarian block of voters.

He has to pick someone that plays to Super Tuesday in the south or get buried. Romney is not going to play very well in the southern states.
