Pretty slick idea. I actually went in the opposite direction on one of my kegs. I blasted it with a light glass bead to take the shine off & give it a matte finish. It really looks nice and removed all scratches & discolorations. Hadn't thought about painting it though.ETA: that said, I want to buff my kegs to a good shine then hit them with some chalkboard paint, I figure that'd be better than labeling with painters tape like now.

JKoravos = real man.I decorate mine with dried beer stains and blue painters tape for tap labels.
