
Hops, how old is too old

if they smell good - use em!I still have quite a bit of hops left over from before the big shortage several years ago. They're pellets from Hops Direct, still in the Mylar bags, and they have been deep in the freezer for the entire time (about 5 years?). Cascade, Cent's, and Amarillo.Other than loss of A.A's, what's the consensus? It's nearly a pound of each.

+1. Apparently the recent Amarillo crop is not earning plaudits, some would count you lucky.if they smell good - use em!
