I recently made a customized brew paddle for my brother. He is just getting into all grain brewing. It got me thinking there may be a market for these. Any feedback would be appreciated. They are 36” long by 3.5 inches wide at the widest part. The paddle part is about 16” long. The paddle is constructed out of a ¾ inch solid maple. The edges are beveled on both sides. I can personalize them with your brewery name so long as it fits in the space available. See photos for more detail. They are $48.00 plus shipping. NOTE: The brewery name is only on ONE side.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePlease let me know what you think. Thanks,Todd

Defintely cool. I don't know if I could justify $48 for a mash paddle, but it's not a bad price IMO.

JKoravos, Thanks for the feedback. This is not for everyone but considering they are going for 49.00 here with no cutsomization I think my price is fair. ( they are out of stock when I last checked.https://morebeer.com....._-_Carved_36"BestTodd

I would need one to test with to properly form an opinion. :devil:Nah really, it looks really cool, the shaft looks a little big - might be uncomfortable to hold. Maybe it is just the picture though? I'd prefer a round handle with an egg shapped nob at the end.

It would be cool if you could take a logo and put on the handle and add the name to the shaft.I may steer my daughter your way. She owes me a father's day present. That would look bad ass on the wall of my office.

DuncanDad, If you have a .jpg file and a name to go on the paddle end I can mock one up in the software. PM me.

This one makes me want one that has A's and Raiders logos.Or even better one with the A's logo and a number four and then the Giants Logo and a number 0. Like this: A's 4 - SF 0I would totally buy that :rolf:

How does this work? It would only be carve in it not through it. It is also only carve on one side.Posted ImageTodd

Thats cool, Too bad you couldn't do the other side too. I guess it wouldn't work all the way through because of the letters eh?

Don't you want the mash paddle to have plenty of through holes to efficiently cut dough balls?

I would agree for the most part. When I was doing 5 gallon batches I used a stainless steel spoon with no holes and it worked just fine. Due to the carving requested it would not be possible to carve all the way through. Todd
