Will you be downtown or in the suburbs? If downtown, check our Greektown -- pretty cool area with good restaurants. Detroit Beer Co. is the only microbrewery I know down town. In the 'burbs, there's Kings in Pontiac, Dragonmead in Warren, Black Lotus in Clawson, Roshester Mills in Rochester, Royal Oak Brewery in Royal Oak, Sherwood in Macomb. I listed those in order of preference for me. Detroit Beer, Royal Oak Brewery, and Rochester Mills are all the same owner.ETA: I live about 20mi. north of Detroit. I would grab a beer with you if possible, but my schedule the next couple of weeks will be a little hectic. SHoot me a PM if you have more questions.

Thanks for the reply rockon.I'll be dropping someone off at the border then turning around. If I choose to stay I'll probably pick a nice burb and sleep some before I head back. I'm taking 94 up and back so anything near there would be easiest...
