Guest has already put in a good three days on this, and he has other real life things to attend to. Give the guy a break, and don't feel like you have to point out everything that is lacking immediately. He'll be working on it as time allows, probably next week. The rest of the board posts are not gone, but the database is a bit messed up. Guest is going to attempt to recover that stuff next week. He says it looks doable, but it will take some time.

It was a planned outage, but it wasn't supposed to be three days. Take the board down, back it up, install on new server, done, a couple hours. Easy Except when the backup fails, Invision's backup also fails, and Invision backup-backup also fails, and no one has noticed that the backups are corrupted until they try to use them. So retarded that Invision never did a verify or something. A verify of their backups would have caught the corruption right?
