I agree that's where the problem is. I'm thinking maybe I'll try a three pronged approach. 1.) Star-San up the pipe. (get your mind out of the gutter!)2.) Goop the gap around the front button with silicone grease.3.) Jam a rubber stopper up the spout. That should prevent anything from drying out in the faucet. Things may get funly in there though. Hopefully the star san is enough to keep things clean.

If you wanted us to keep our mind out of the gutter you could have used better terminology all around... by the time I got to the end of #3 I was laughing pretty good.Seriously though, I'm having the same problem but I've only got 2 taps. And... I have an Amazon credit that's been sitting around for over a year. I guess I know what to finally do with it. I'm gonna upgrade.I'm glad you posted this Q because I'm headed on a 2 week vacation next week and maybe I can get the taps in before then!

+1 I pull a little sample off each one every day or so, just to keep the faucets lubed.

Hey, no one is selling them on Amazon and I'm having a hard time finding a source via a Yahoo/Google type search... can you direct me to a vendor?

Here's the kicker... I'm going to be in Wisconsin in about a week. Wish I could just pop in at the Perlick and pick a couple up. Doubt that they would do that though. Besides, I'm going to be in Madison and Door County. Did check The Wine & Hop shop in Madison and it doesn't appear that they sell these at their store.Just looking for the best price possible... and that factors shipping as well.
