I guess guiness has 5.7 carbs. Not bad for something with taste. I'd stick with that personally. The other options is hard alcohol with diet soda.

On my low carbing the best "beers" I've found have been the Bud Select & MGD 64.

Try the ultra amber. It is still a lite beer and watery but it has some carmel flavors. It is not attempting to be a water down American standard.

I think that the watery flavor is the nature of the best. Isn't the carbs the residual sugars? So by nature it is going to lack body.

I have been doing vodka with diet tonic and a splash of lime juice. Pretty good actually. I was doing regular tonic until i found out it has a lot of carbs.5.7 is not bad. I thought Guinness was at about 9 or 10

could be wrong on that - trying to verfiy info...

I would assume that guiness draught is pretty low. It is actually a pretty thin beer. You are getting the flavors from the roast and bitterness you also get mouthfeel from the carb process

how about you just cut beer in general for the time being. I think you will see results faster and will appreciate beer so much more after.Thinking the way you are you are destined to fail at this diet. Just from my own personal experience of learning to control the hoppy, carby, tasty tasty OH SO TASTY monster.
