I never noticed before today that this board, unlike the Greenboard, doesn't have any code in place for moderators.

Unlike the Greenboard, they aren't needed here.I never noticed before today that this board, unlike the Greenboard, doesn't have any code in place for moderators.

That's a little like if the colonists had rebelled because they thought the British government violated the limits of its powers... but then declared that the power of their own government didn't need to be limited.Unlike the Greenboard, they aren't needed here.

Contrary to what you see in print, the greenboard doesn't have one either. Our failure to print one is simply more honest.I never noticed before today that this board, unlike the Greenboard, doesn't have any code in place for moderators.

Fair enough, maybe, but I think that the one at the greenboard served a role even if it wasn't followed when it counted. The very fact that it wasn't followed was a signal to some people that something was amiss.Contrary to what you see in print, the greenboard doesn't have one either. I tend to agree. The fact that we had them there and truly tried to adhere to them was one of the things I was most proud of. It was a differentiator over other forums.
