Is there a ratio for how much rice hauls to use to X amount of Wheat or Rye? I've just been adding what looks right but with using Wheat and Rye so much I'd like to limit it down to what I need.

No, not really. I use one large handful per pound. If I'm using a lot of flaked grains then I will first line my false bottom with a thin layer of rice hulls, which is about one large handful, a little more. Then, since I mill directly into my MLT with a 7# hopper, I just do the next layer of rice hulls after each milling; it all gets mixed up when I dough in as it is.

Unless I'm doing a large portion of wheat/rye I wouldn't even consider it, probably under 40% and I don't worry about it on my rig. I was routinely doing 30% malted wheat in my beers because I had a lot on hand and didn't once add rice hulls.

Thanks for the replies. I'll start weighing out a pound rice hulls to 10 pound of Wheat / Rye see how it works.

I just throw a few handfuls in and I usually do 50% wheat in 10g batches. I use a lot less than most here, it seems, but I've never had an issue. I've also got a huge freakin bag, so it's not like I'm trying to conserve. YMMV.
