Posting this on behalf of a fellow homebrew member and a great local Microbrewery here in Raleigh NCHi all, My name is Bill Dubas and I am the social chairman for the CARBOY homebrew club in Raleigh. A local microbrewery, Lonerider Brewing Company, has asked me to help them organize a homebrew competition. The Best of Show winning beer of this competition will be brewed, under the homebrewer's strict supervision, at the Lonerider brewery and sold commercially at the brewery. In addition to the opportunity to brew their winning recipe on Lonerider’s professional system, a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of the first batch of the beer made by Lonerider Brewing Company using the winner's recipe will be given to the winning homebrewer. Any remaining funds will be donated to the NC Brewers’ Guild by Lonerider Brewing Company. Quality ribbons will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place flight winners. The Lonerider “Brew it Forward” competition is not a sanctioned BJCP competition, but there are some restrictions that apply to the entered beer and applicant, as described on their webpage. We look forward to tasting your entry! https://lonerider.me/?p=10 Regards, Bill

Just a reminder that there are only 3 weeks left to enter the first Lonerider Brewery homebrew competition. Remember that Lonerider will keep none of the profits from the first batch of the winning beer brewed for sale. 1/3 of the profits will go to the winning brewer, 1/3 will be given to the NC Brewer’s Guild, and finally 1/3 will be given to local charities.
