I'm helping my brother with a cheap and easy semi-sweet cider, using a recipe I've made drinkable semi-sweet cider with in the past.Basically, we use Safale s-04 in 5 gallons of apple juice, ferment out, wait a few weeks for yeast cleanup, spike with campden tablets, and backsweeten with 3-4 cans of apple juice concentrate. Turns out pretty good for $20-$25 and an hour or so's work.He wants to get a pomegranate flavor into a batch already in the fermenter (airlock activity stopped a few days ago, so the yeast are cleaning up). I figure we'd just do half apple juice concentrate, half pomegranate concentrate (like this: https://www.amazon.c...e/dp/B000ETLOPW ) in the backsweetening.Anyone have experience with that pomegranate stuff? Do you think it will be good? Any other flaws in our brilliant plan?
