American Saaz have ad some USDA tinkering IIRCbut, I see your point thoughHonest question: If the vine's DNA is the same and the hop is grown in a different country/region, is it really a diffferent hop? I understand terroir and its effects on flavor, AA, etc., but does that alone make it a separate variety? If you grow Pinot Noir grapes in Burgundy and in Oregon you will get a different tasting wine, but the varietal is the same. It's hard for me to see American Saaz as a different variety than Czech Saaz, but maybe I'm just being pedantic. Hell of a list by the way.
