So I was at a neighborhood picnic this weekend, and I was talking to a couple, when lo and behold I get the usual question. "aren't you the home brewer?". I say I am and the guy proceeds to tell me he used to dabble in it several years ago and he has been out of it for over 5 years. Then he asks if I want his old equipment because he is about to throw it out anyway.Well next day I go to his house and am floored. He GAVE me the following;2 10 lb CO2 tanks1 5 lb CO2 tank4 6 gallon fermenter's2 cases of bottles2 corny kegsa complete startup brewing kit in miscellaneous brushes, tubing, capper, caps etc.I was blown away. Needles to say I have got to do something very nice for this guy in the very near future!

lol. He had mentioned the bottles and the fermenter's.......I expected those to be in need of a good cleaning..but the rest was a sweeeet surprise!

Very nice score that he got and I agree that he deserves a quality hand crafted beer. Maybe invite him over for the brew session... on second thought, don't. He may want his stuff back.
