The first time I used Citra, I hated them! I used them to dry hop a beer and it was too intense and seemed to add bitterness too.Now I've done some other beers with it and I think it's one of my favorite new hops.I'm still really interested to get some of these new New Zealand hops I've been seeing at my LHBS.

I've been using Citra for a while now and Love it. but like Simcoe it takes some getting used to. "Catty" is an up front first impression. Shoreline in Michigan City dida pale ale using all Citra so has 3F.I like the American Wheat Gumballhead but use all Citra instead of Amarillo hopsall the way through.looks like a great beer Hillerkeep us posted on your results. Cheers.

Shoreline in Michigan City did a pale ale using all Citra.

That was their Exponential Ale, right. It was AWESOME! Shoreline has been making some really great beer and I heard they are going to start bottling soon too! I just hope I can get some her in Chicago!

Can't say for sure. it's all a bit Fuzzy. but yes it was AWESOME.I have yet to have a bad beer there. the offering at 3F was pretty good too. again it was an all Citra pale. if Shoreline does go full out I hope you can get some that way. as long as the Distribution ball sacks don't get in the way.
