I was in Wichita this weekend. Nice place we went to and asked about the beer. "Just put Hop Hound on tap". Sounded interesting but never heard of it. Waiter went and checked on who brewed it, Inbev/Michelob, I passed and had some Mex Vienna lagers with the burger instead. Probably a good choice - beer & burgers were OK. Firkin & Bull

I went to Hamburger Paradise (the Buffet place) and they had a "Beach Ale" or something like that. I ordered it and it seemed like a weak version of SNPA. It was very odd. I wonder who brewed that and if SN knows that these guys are producing a weak version of the signature brew.

I'd like to try bud's interpretation of a hoppy beer, if for nothing but a laugh.

I had a Hop Hound at Outback a few weeks ago. The name is very misleading; it's a wheat beer. It's sort of like an American dunkelweisen. Pretty good beer, actually.

I was talking to a microbioligist from Bud the other day, he is trying to convince them to do cask Bud heavily dryhopped. Good luck with that.I'd like to try bud's interpretation of a hoppy beer, if for nothing but a laugh.

To be fair he was a cool guy and was a big fan of craft beer. As a matter of fact he doesn't like bud, it's just a job.lolz
