I haven't brewed it, but Mike McDole's Janet's Brown Ale is solid ABA.OG 1.066FG 1.016IBU 6321 SRM60 min boil7 gal12.0 lb 2-row1.25 lb Carapils1.25 lb Crystal 40L1.00 lb Wheat Malt0.50 lb Chocolate MaltMash at 154F28 g N. There are really hoppy ones like Dogfish Head's IBA, and there are malty ones like Moose Drool.Depends what you like I guess, but I believe Mcdole's recipe is toward the hoppy side. I've also heard it's a kick ass recipe.

thanks! I ended up going with something along the lines of the McDole recipe, heavily changed for what was in my garage and just because:
