I want to secondary my mead on blueberries. How many pounds for 3 gallons?

How much blueberry flavour do you want? The more flavour, the more pound/gal ratio. I typically use 3-4 pounds of fruit per gallon in my melomels. So I would use between 9 and 12 pounds in your three gallons. Perhaps more, for personal preference.

I was originally going to use 10 pounds but thought I'd ask first. Thanks!

I was actually going to buy frozen blueberries to begin with and defrost and mash them. The "week is the same as a month" confused me a little :o . About how long do you let it sit?
