Grain substituition Charts

I can find hops substitution charts but Not much for grains.I was wanting a grain sub for Special Roast .Could i skip it at 4% in the recipe,or roast some 2-row or something.Or a trip to the beer store?any ideas? planning on making bell's best brown ale again next weekend.Thoughts?

You could maybe toast some biscuit malt in the oven for a while. I'm just guessing here but maybe 20-30 minutes at 350°F.

I have some Victory malts,was leaning towards toasting 4 oz.This is over 2-row/crystal malts.I believe that is the best options. :cheers:
