Any place other than MB & NB to pick up pass through shanks? These things are so expensive when you want to put 6 taps on a jockey box.

I looked around last year when I bought a few faucet setups for my tower. I didn't find anything. I ended up ordering from MB. You could try Foxx Equipment, but they don't usually sell to end users.

what's a pass through shank? My shanks go from one side of the kegorator to the other; having trouble envisioning some alternative.

That;s what I would consider a pass through shank. I'd consider a standard shank one that is much shorter, because it only needs to pass through the thickness of the sheet metal in a typical tower.

Pass-through shanks don't have a faucet connection on one end. Both connections are like the end of a normal shank that is inside the kegerator. You use the pass-through shanks to get the beer inside the cooler in a jockey box from the kegs and then regular shanks for mounting faucets.Edit: Example: https://pivo.norther...rm=pass through

If you're looking to save money, why bother with these at all? Why not just drill a bev-line sized hole in the side of the cooler and pass the line through. You can use some sort of grommet if youre worried about water getting in the insulation between the plastic.

Hmm, I hadn't considered that solution. I figure that transportation would be much simpler if I could detach the outside lines.
