Been a member of my homebrew club since January 2008. We meet once a month on the 4th wed of each month 7:00pm. Each meeting we bring beers try, get some feedback, welcome new members, We do big group brews and have had educational sessions to teach those interested in brewing and all grain. Liquid PoetsStarted by about six of us a few years ago, now something like 65-70 paid members, winter and summer party, fresh hop fall brew, sometimes a Maifest sometimes an Ofest party many get-togethers randomly throughout the year, I think there four BJCP tests here in the last three years, seven oak barrels with various stuff in and out of them, including one in situ at New Belgium Brewery, closely associated with one of the coolest lhbs in the country, HOPS & Berries....We meet on the first Thursday, at a local brewery on rotation - O'dell, Bighorn, Ft Collins Brewing, New Belgium, and sometimes at a nice little coffee/beer bar called Catalyst.Oh, and our yearly comp is coming up. [shameless plug alert]The deadline for entries is in two weeks, we only need two bottles, the club has about thirty BJCP judges itslef plus lots of help from CO clubs (and some from NBB's "taster panel") AND from the first-round winners in the BOS round, will be chosen pro-am beers for:O'dell Brewing (gold winner at GABF and World Beer Cup last year for English IPA), Bighorn Brewing (CB&Potts chain), Ft Collins Brewery (lager capability) and Coopersmith's (very English-ale oriented, lots of oak barrels).So... ya might want in on it.Here's more details:https://slam.liquidpoets.com/
