It would help out the dumb people (me) if there was a FAQ with definitions of words like metheglin, braggot, melomel, and the like. I always forget. Can we get something like that?

You mean like HT's What Is Mead FAQ posted in the FAQ subforum topic? :D

;) Good point. I thought it might have been somewhere. That's why I said it was a dumb question. I did a few searches and it didnt come up, maybe that could be an improvement to the FAQ.

 Good point. I thought it might have been somewhere. ... I did a few searches and it didnt come up, maybe that could be an improvement to the FAQ.

Unfortunately a forum search will not produce a 'hit' as my Mead FAQ's content is not word searchable - they are PDF files located on my website. So it's not your fault you weren't able to notice them.I also have the same FAQs on another brewing forum website, where they 'sit' prominently as a sticky topic at the very top of the Mead forum. Based on the 5,653 views of that topic (in less than 3 months), it would appear that method allows a somewhat superior content visibilty...
