80/- is a very nice style. Unfortunately my own is the only one I've ever really liked. Can you get this one in the states?Found this brew at a little upscale market outside my hotel in Aberdeen. I bought this one, along with sever other Scottish ales. This one was the best IMO. Really nice malt flavor. Lots of caramel. The hop aroma is very earthy, but subtle. No hop flavor to speak of, but a nice background hop bitterness to reign in the malt. Quite a nice brew. Surprisingly, most of the others I had were way overcarbonated. Maybe it's a bottling thing, but the acidic bite from the carbonation really killed a few of them for me.I liked their website, too, it's kind of funny. It must be fairly lightly distributed, I can't even find a review of any of their beers on beer advocate.

I doubt it. I haven't seen many scottish ales in the US at all. A couple of the ones I had listed US distributors on the bottle, so you must be able to get them somewhere.80/- is a very nice style. Unfortunately my own is the only one I've ever really liked. Can you get this one in the states?

usually it just says "scottish ale". I've also had an IPA and a stout by them.Yeah, belhaven makes an 80/-, but I don't recall having seen it in the US. I usually see their St. Andrews Ale.

I don't think I've ever seen that one in the states. I think this is what I've normally seen:
