A friend of my wife is getting married and while they have some beer mugs on their registry I'd kind of like to get them a set of glasses intended for the major styles (pilsner, belgian, stout, etc.). ;)

Dirty John's in Iowa City is my favorite. Here's a link to some glassware suppliers. It says Belgian glasses but most of these places have all different types. https://www.belgians...lass/glass.html

Note: I'm also open to other awesome beer rinkin accessories. These people don't brew yet but I don't want to put the pressure on them by getting them brewing equipment.

I work for Ross Dress for Less and got nearlly all of mine there. You don't have any up in your neck of the woods, but our competitor likely will have some... go to a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. It will be significantly discounted, allowing you to buy more. I was best man for a wedding and I gave the groom a set of 12 pint glasses that I picked up. Before my discount, they were $8.99.Could also try Burlington Coat Factory or Tuesday Morning.

Have you checked out the Lagunitas Glasses? I especially like the butterfly bottle opener. Posted ImagePosted Image

So I ended up picking this up: My linkIt's not the fanciest but it covers some of the major styles fairly well and I like the look of the glasses and pretty cheap to boot. Thanks all

A coworker of mine bought this for me last year. I still use all the glasses and they have worked out very well. I have served beer to others in them too. I would think that these will work out pretty good for your friend. Cheers!!

yeah - I was looking at them and thought if I didn't already have a bunch of glasses these would be nice. This guy isn't huge into belgians I don't think but if he ever does get into them he can pick up some appropriate glassware for that.

Zym: Did you consider doing something personalized? The guy who did my etched beer glasses did an excellent job and his prices are reasonable. There are pics of my glasses on my site (link below), go to OTHER STUFF. There is a link to his site there as well. Otherwise, I like THIS place. Cheers!

that's cool stuff but this is one of my wife's coworker friends and they aren't super close or anything so we aren't looking to get too involved (we aren't even attending the wedding b/c it's down in Texas).
