I entered two beers into the st louis home brew contest last month and got the results in the mail today. 29.5 on both. one was extract (Chocolate stout) and one was partial mash (kolsch). it is extremely helpful to get pro opinion and advice on how to improve. It really is a great feeling and a great hobby. thank you to the judges in St. Louis.

And that isn't a bad score to start with. I started with about 25 and now get about 33 to 37.Lots of room for improvement in my brews yet, but the brews are so damn good.
