I sure that was meant tongue in cheek, but I disagree. You may not like what Tankard posts, but he specifically points out what he dislikes about Islam. Most of the Christianity bashing I see in the PH is just plain ole sneering derisiveness at having the audacity to believe in the Bible.

And the main thing that he dislikes is that one way or another they are all terrorists who want to kill us. This seems way worse to me than say, "those christians are pretty dumb for believing in God." If I was a religious christian person I could just roll my eyes at that sort of crap. If someone was calling me a terrorist it'd be a little more serious, especially when my religion doesn't make up the vast majority of people in the country/forum.

Well, yes and no. In effect, what he has said is that not all practicing Muslims are terrorists, but that's because they don't understand their own religion. All true Muslims are terrorists, or at least they are pro-Jihadists.

That's more or less Teh Lifeboat. There are lots of threads that get posted here that really would play better over there and I think more members here should take advantage of that forum for that type of free-for-all and asshatery. That's why BBM set it up so make use of it. I'm not trying to kick people out but if that's the kind of thing you want to do, why not go over there rather than have to fight the more restrictive rules over here?
