Looks like I may be moving to a high rise apartment so I am going to need to upgrade to a pump system with a plate chiller instead of using my immersion and a hose. PM me if you have anything.

I'd just sneek a hose bib under the sink on the cold water line.

Cheap plate chillers on eBay work well if they are big enough. The one I picked up is bigger then a blichmann and cost less

I use an immersion chiller with a faucet adapter all the time in a condo. I've never hooked my IC up to a hose.

yea, I have a faucet adapter but would have hated to move the kettle from the balcony to the sink...but alas looks like the landlord will take 50 bucks off our rent and we're gonna stay at the current place...now i can just keep saving for a kegging system.
