Sorry. It has one beer faucet and one ready for a stout faucet, I guess there isn't a lot of difference in the connection, but I can get a free nitrogen tank if I want to truly pour a good stout. I'm not that learned up on faucets and all there is to know about kegging yet. I'm still using picnic taps.Cheers,RichWhat does that mean?

the hook up at the shank is the same. it's the Faucet that makes the Diff.HOWEVER beer alone on Nitro will not work the best. you still need Co2.so you can buy a blender and mix straite Co2 and straite Nitro.or you can take Nitro tank in and get a beer gas blend. taking the Co2 line off and putting on the Nitro every time you want to have a pull gets old quick.Congrats on the score. good luck.MORE FREEZER SPACE ='s more room for HOPS...Sorry. I carb with 100% Nitro and serve with Nitro and all my Nitro beers have the perfect cascade and creamy foam that lasts until the pint is gone. Everything expected of a Nitro beer. Not sure why you need a blend in your house?Nice score on the kegerator Btw....some wish they can be that lucky.HOWEVER beer alone on Nitro will not work the best. you still need Co2.

I'm not sure. He hasnt given me the bottle and reg yet. He would let me have it if I bought a stout faucet. The fridge already has one regular faucet on it. I think its a perlick. Cheers,RichWhen you say 'nitro', are you referring to beer gas, or to pure N2?

I didnt think this was possible. Are you sure you're getting 100% nitrogen? What PSI do you have your regulator set to?I use beer gas, but it's the only way I can do it without spending extra money. I have it in a CO2 tank (local bev supply place does swaps for me), and I use a CO2 regulator. I usually carb with my normal CO2 tank to conserve beer gas. If I don't over carb with the other tank, I get a perfect cascade. I usually screw it up though.I carb with 100% Nitro and serve with Nitro and all my Nitro beers have the perfect cascade and creamy foam that lasts until the pint is gone. When I got my Nitro tank filled my gas man said it was 100% Nitro. There is no indication on the tank that it is a mix.My practice is to carb bottom up, 40psi/36hrs/38* serve at 20psi. Ive never screwed one up yet. My Nitro tank has lasted a few years. But I only do a Nitro beer a few times per year.I didnt think this was possible. Are you sure you're getting 100% nitrogen? Nitrogen isn't dissolvable into beer, it is used purely to push beer through beverage lines. If you were serving a beer with 100% nitro, it would pour with no head. By using a blend of beergas (typically 70/30 or 75/25), the nitro will push the beer through your stout faucet (at a higher than typical psi) where the restrictor plate will cause the small amount of co2 to come out of solution and form that thick cream head. No co2, no head. So, does your beer have that nice "Guinness" effect and whipped cream head? Or does it pour flat ?When I got my Nitro tank filled my gas man said it was 100% Nitro. As i said its a perfect cascade. So it must be a blend of some type. Wish I knew what it was according to this. So, does your beer have that nice "Guinness" effect and whipped cream head? Or does it pour flat ?
