Any crystal malt around 35L will work.Alright I'm going to fight the Rogue nation!!! I love Dead Guy Ale, but I hate the price tag. I have several clone recipes but Rogues website calls for Carastan. Now I know I can get it from Austin Home Brew and Rebel Brewing but I normally get my stuff when down in the Twin Cities at either Midwest Supplies or Northern Brewer. They don't carry carastan. So any suggestions?? Because I was thinking of brewing the Old Rasputin clone in BYO 150 clones but it calls for carastan as well. So any help would be appreciated!!!!

a win-win situationI would also go with the Simpson's Caramalt. I think it's more similar to Carastan from what I know about it. But the CM I is a great malt too so you can't really go wrong.
