It's pretty decent, but I'd want to know what malt, how old it is, how it was stored, etc.Someone on the local craigslist is selling 2-row for $38 bucks for a 50lb bag. Is this a good price? I've never bought grain in bulk before.

I'd say its a good price subject to everything Chriscose has said. If you can, ask to see it first and taste it. If it has been kept in a dry space and is not old, it should be just fine. It's pretty decent, but I'd want to know what malt, how old it is, how it was stored, etc.
