Just saw an ad for a Coors fridge draft system that seemed to use CO2 cartridges. It was amazingly mysoginistic. The product looks interesting, but I have no idea how the ad got out of focus group.MolBasser

Even since the report came out that BMC is losing sales and craft brewing is growing there has been all this talk of gimmicky marketing gadgets that the big guys wanna promote to increase sales. Sadly the uneducated consumer might fall for these silly gimmicks too. It still does not change the fact that BMC brews colored water with no flavors. There was also a new report last night on the local news about the beer market and it made me laugh the announcer says that BMC is starting to brew craft style beer and gave Coors brewing Blue Moon? Since when is Blue Moon a new offering from Coors? I remember that being popular back when I was in college. Either way its all a marketing gimmick on packaging. "Triple Hops Brewed" Vortex Bottles to increase aroma and flavor and now this thing. Sorry it does not make the product any better. Rock on Craft Brewers and Market!!

So what happens in the commercial that's so misogynistic?Has anyone figured out how to re-purpose one of these things for homebrew yet?

the question is are these containers reusable for homebrew and do you have to smoke a cigarette to get the true coors flavor?

I'm highly interested in dumping an entire one of those suckers out in my lawn...and then filling it with homebrew!

Just did some searching on the net to see if this might be possible and found a Thread on another forum that says this is very easy to mod for homebrew with a 16g co2 bulbETA it's basically a tap-a-draft with a different co2 and dispensing head

the pouch lasts thru the whole 2.5 gallons of beer, how long do those little CO2 chargers last?

The 16g should push the whole 1.5ish gallons ... The food safe ones run a bit under $2/pc

I'll take both of those as a no thanks :DI don't like guaranteed unnecessary expense like that.
