Just did a first... hit the smack pack for a brew session tonight. Making a modified Fat Tire. I say modified because I'm going with a bit darker in color. Just a bit more chocolate wheat malt than I did last time, but hops schedule is otherwise the same. Will also keg (and possibly bottle) Denny's RyeIPA.

I'm doing an East meets West IPA this Sunday. It will be an east coast hop schedule (similar to DFH 90 min) with a PNW style grain bill and Pacman yeast. I doubt it will be anything revolutionary, but I expect it to be damn good. Weatherman is calling for rain, so I can't imagine anything better to do on a rainy Sunday than to drink and brew.

I need to brew this weekend. Not sure I'm going to get too since Sunday is taken up by Father's Day. We'll see tomorrow, but it's supposed to be in the 90's for both temp and humidity, which is discouraging. Maybe I'll get up early. If I do manage to brew, it will be an IPA that I haven't even made up yet.

I have the ingediments for a Kolsch and I'll probably put them to use. I just kegged a pale ale, so that'll take care of my summer brews. I'm thinking of fermenting an IIPA on the yeast cake from the Kolsch. Has anyone tried an IPA or IIPA with Kolsch yeast?

Doing 20 gallons of IPA with summit, simcoe, cents, amarillo, and a ton of cascade on the flameout (thanks Kansan). Shiny new brewpot gets it's first run. Just gonna try not to melt with this wicked heat.

It's in the low 80's right now, but by the time I get home and start brewing it should be a nice pleasant brew session. I do love the low humidity out here... even when it's reaching 100.

I've considered it. I might head to lowes or depot to try to figure out what parts I need to convert my 10 gal rubbermaid cooler spigot to a hard piped ball valve to my stainless FB. If I can do that, I might just brew on sunday or something. :P

Have everything together for two batches. MLPA up first, then a SNPA next. Hope to get them done by early next week as it may be a busy weekend. :P

Got my recipe put together but not measured yet for an American Wheat. Hoping to squeeze it in sometime tomorrow, might brew in the evening to get it in as well. I just kegged two Citra Pale Ales with different yeasts and put those on gas along with a Munich Dunkel I brewed back in January. Hope the brewing goes well all!!

I did 10 gallons of a cream ale this morning/afternoon, and kegged 10 gallons of a Rye IPA.I will be doing the beer for a friend's wedding in July, and need to make sure everything is ready by then - I'll be cutting it a bit close, but should be fine.

Brewed a brown ale yesterday and then overnight mashed the grains for a hop-bursted all Amarillo IPA. I'm just hoping that my propane holds out as both tanks are feeling kind of low. Too bad I can't tap into the 500G we have sitting on our front lawn - might be a project for the future.

Just mashed in on a 12 gallon batch of dubbel It has been so long since I made the starter, (about 6 weeks ago) I forgot what yeast it was! I just went out and looked at my save empty vials, and it was wlp500, I should probably right that down on my recipe. I decanted and pitched fresh wort into the starters 2 nights ago, and I now have some fat cakes to pitch. Gonna start it cool at 64 for 3 days, then add my sugar, and ramp it 2-3 degrees each day till I hit 78, and let it finish dry. (My plan at least :P )
