When you mash an MLPA at 148F for more than two hours? 91% attenuation.Kegged the MLPA last night that was the second batch of my double brew day on the 6th. Stike was a little lower than I'd have preferred - 148F - and it sat there, and sat there, and sat there waiting for the first beer to finish. Anyway, kegged and tested it last night and it went from 1.048 (I think) down to 1.004! Bud Light type body, but it tastes fantastic! Gel goes in tonight. After having dumped 30 gallons of this stuff due to infection, it surely was satisfying to finally taste it. Great recipe!

Wow, that's crazy. It sounds like a great lawnmower beer.

You would definitely want to err on the low side than the high. The last version I made was mashed closer to 150° (than the normal 152°) and I used a little more hops in it too. Not much but maybe 6 AAU as opposed to 5.2 or so. It was crisper and a little lighter in body but still MLPA and still good. It sounds like it will be good for summer consuming. Cheers.
