I'm in charge of a beer enthusiast group and we have a beer tasting coming up at the end of July and we're looking to taste some offerings from Cigar City. Are there any Florida/Tampa brewers on the board that want to work out a trade? Not sure what's available in our market vs. yours, but maybe something can be worked out. If the price is right, I'd also be willing to put up beers I have on my own shelves as well.

Where are you located?I haven't had any of their beers yet either, but I think your best bet would be to go to your local beer store and see if they can order some for your group. At least that way its all legal.Cheers,Rich

Missouri. No chance in ordering CC through a local beer store, it's not distributed here.

Both ratebeer and beeradvocate have great trading forums. I would check there. A lot of guys will REALLY hook you up as well. Only thing is, as a newb they will want you to ship first. Give it a try...I cannot say enough about the community on ratebeer.

Thanks, been trading on both RB and BA for awhile now. Actually am in discussion right now with someone on BA about a trade for CC but I thought I would check here as well.

I would do it, but my beer budget isn't very good right now.Edit: you might consider contacting Tampa Bay B.E.E.R.S. They are a big homebrew club in Tampa and their members might be able to help.Cheers,Rich
