I'm using this for the first time. Does this really do any calculations for me? As far as I can tell, I enter in just about all the information. I guess namely, I want it to spit out the strike temp, sparge temp, etc, but as of now I'm not seeing any of it. When I export the data, it's simply regurgitating what I already know.

It will calculate those things. In the mash schedule screen click on the 'revert to complex' and you can plug in your grain temp, water/grain ratio, and then your target rest temp and it will tell you how much of what temp water to add. Sparge water volume will be in the 'water needed' screen. Are you batch sparging or fly sparging?I think it does take a little getting used to to figure it out. The interface is a bit clunky (how long has it been since it was written?) but it does work well.

Most of that stuff is in the brewing sessions. Note that you'll need to enter basic data like mash tun thermal mass, boil-off rate, etc. before it can do those calculations for you.
