In an ever expanding circle of energy/slash alcohol drink experimentation I tried CORE tonight. 32 oz. of grape goodness. The can procclaims that they spent a lot of time in their labs copming up with the grape flavor. I can see how they reached this conclusion. It tasts more like grape sode than Dragon JOOSE, but misses the lightening factor. The 32 oz. of liquid helps get alcohol in to your system, but I can still walk. A little disappointing. As with most energy/malt liquors i have had the sweetness and flavor of the drink overwhelms everythign else. The graps flavor in this drink, however, is only overset by a back of the throat taste of alcohol. Sort of like putting cheap tequila in my Faygo brand grape soda (nod to the D). The caffeine, etc. in this drink did not give me as much of a jolt as in teh JOOSE, but the overall profile was not too offensive. Nose and mouth feel were very light and did not even hint much of grape. mostly the extreme sweetness and very very dark purple color represented the grape more than anything else.

After a morning re-read, maybe the alcohol got to me a bit more than I thought. Most of the spelling is OK, but a few errors. I am tooo late to edit the post though.
