Just found out about a golf tournament that my boss wants me in on the 15th.I would like to use Big Brew Day on the 2nd to whip up a good beer for everyone on the 15th, so 13 days.An American Wheat perhaps? Recipes?I do keg, so it can be force carbed. I prefer all grain.Sharkman.

I did this and it was bottle conditioned in 14 days and served at a wedding - went over great with everyone. Very easy drinking. The WlP300 gives it some banana flavors, if you want less banana use one of the American wheat strains or Cali Ale. Barefoot Blonde:OG 1.050 (10 gallons)9 lbs American 2-row9 lbs White Wheat (malted wheat) 1.5 oz hallertauer 60 min1 oz hallertauer 10 min1 oz hallertauer 0 minMash at 153WLP300 (for tropical fruit and banana flavors) or WLP320 for less bananaEDIT for clarity

Yeah, half wheat, half barley, maybe a touch of special roast too. Wyeast 1010 would be my choice. Shoot for around 1.050. I like it with either Noble or C-hops at my place. Pitch a bunch of yeast with that time frame though. Hope that helps. If you're pinched for time US-05 will work, but just not the same if you don't have time to get a starter rolling. I assume this will be kegged - about your only choice- nevermind. Golf - they probably won't care.... been there before.

Agree with all above, a hefe is super quick. If you don't overhop it a pale or amber ale could be done in 10 days or so giving you plenty of time to card. Maybe something like this9lbs Pale malt1lb Victory or Munich0.5lbs Crystal 60Mash at 152. Add 30 or so IBUs of bittering C-hops and then 1/2 oz of a mix of Centennial, Amarrillo and Willamette at 20, 15, 10, 5 and then a full ounce at flameout. Ferment at 65-68 with either WLP001 or US-05 for 10 days. Keg and force carb.

I'm gonna run with this one. What about 40 IBU's of hops or is that too much.

Other than being ready in 2 weeks you haven't specified much in terms of what you're looking for. 40 IBUs is probably more than most people would be used to, it'd give it a bite for sure. If it's going to be a BMC crowd you might do well to keep the IBU around 15.

I say brew a simple saison with a low OG and ferment at 75-80. 2# Wheat 6# pils 2 oz Saaz at 60 min. You will blow through that stuff.
