Though this is written after 3 cans of Guinness stout, a glass of Pinot Grigio and a few hours with the kids, the JOOSE watermelon is pretty yummy.Tastes like one would imagine a watermelon should taste with a strong kick of unrefined alcohol behind it. That being said, it is now my favorite JOOSE above Dragon. Fairly easy to drink and a decent taste. Also like the alcohol kick above the 9.9%.Not really complex, but the ginseng and certified colors add a bit of secondary flavor profile.

How did the lightening play into the flavor profile?

How did the lightening play into the flavor profile?

Kind of hard to tell. But it did have a nice kick. I would say that the lightening is probably what made the watermelon flavor more intense. A real watermelon is mostly water and the flavor is sort of dilute, whereas in the Watermelon JOOSE the flavor of the watermelon sort sort of jumps up, slaps you in the face and says "Hey, I am watermelon flavored!!"

I had a one of these yesterday, I moved it from the fridge to freezer 90 minutes before opening. Like coors light, Joose is best so cold you can't really taste it.Teh watermelon = teh not bad. I should have bought two.

Good call. I have found that watermelon does not go well with the otehr flavors, except maybe sour apple.I like blue and dragon or Panther and dragon as well.
