I have been reusing a slurry of Wyeast 3522 for 5 times now. Pumpkin Ale, 2x Belgian IPA, Tripel and now just recently a Quad. My Quad was a pitch of 3522 slurry into a 1.094 wort. Fermentations for all of the beers have finished at 1.010 and are listed in inceasing SG as well. My question is this: I would love to brew and have a recipe for an Impy Stout, I would love to make this one a Belgian Stout and see how it goes. Projected SG for this recipe is 1.087 based on my gain bill I will figure I will come in around 1.080-1.084. My question is with this being a lower gravity and the 3522 coming off of a 1.094 wort would a repitch of this yeast be appropriate? Even though I will start another series with 3522 I really don't wanna wait to brew this beer and its already at an Imperial gravity for past fermentations. I know you normally dump after a ferment this high but this yeast went off like a champ and never struggled along the way in all of these past 5 beers. What says ye all? Repitch the yeast one last time??

I don't know where the idea came from that you can't repitch into lower gravity wort...there's nothing wrong with that. The real issue in your case is reusing yeast from a 1.094 wort. Personally, I wouldn't do that. If you decide to do it, I'd take a bit of the slurry and make a new starter of appropriate size.
