I don't know, you are informing board members of an opportunity to get some kegs on the cheap. I just found the add you were referring to, just sent an email to get a couple myself.

Yeah man, Santa Rosa is 10 minutes up the freeway. I talked to dude earlier and we are going to do a deal after I get off work tomorrow. 2 ball lock kegs, 50.00. Not bad. Hopefully they don't need too much work. But I got plenty of extra o-rings so I'm good to go.

I picked up 4 last night. A little beat up, and one of the tops has a weird pressure relieve valve on it that seems like it is self contained and a permanent fixture on the lid.

Yeah, please ask next time. I don't have a problem with stuff like this. The rule is more intended to prevent business that aren't involved with the board from using the board as a means of free advertising. Pointing other members to good deals is fine.
