I've had this vision for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. I went from this where I had the double tower on the small fridge...Posted ImageTo this... where I used my larger "spare" fridge in the closet behind my bar as my new serving fridge:Posted ImageI tricked out the fridge so I could fit 4 kegs plus two Co2 tanks in there and I used some leftover tile and grout that I had in the attic. I have some smaller pieces of tile being cut for a "backsplash" which is coming next week and I have a 30" drip tray on order which should also arrive next week. The old draft fridge is now being used as my "staging" fridge so it will hold 2 cold, carbed kegs. 4 on tap at all times and 2 on deck! Ka-ching!

Nice work Ken, very clean and meticulous, I expect nothing but that from you. And to think, you said in your taphandle adventure that you were not handy, you are proving yourself wrong!

Ken,Have you got a thread here that describes what you did? I take it that you went through the back of the spare fridge to run the tap lines.

Ken,Have you got a thread here that describes what you did? I take it that you went through the back of the spare fridge to run the tap lines.

Weave: I took pics along the way and planned to put a page on my site with some info. I did not go thru the back of the fridge as that would've been entirely too dicey. I went through the side which makes the configuration in the closet a little weird, but totally manageable. I have mentioned that I am not overly handy and drilling through the side of the fridge was the prickliest part of this for me because one wrong move and your fridge is gone. This is an old-school fridge that I got at a used appliance place for $49 or something, but still... I want to keep it. Also, check out the tile... not one cut. The distance from the counter to the ceiling is 3' and these are 12x12 tiles. I did have a tile guy drill holes in the tile for the faucets and he's also making cuts for me to use as trim along the top of the counter. Once everything is set, I will put a page on my site with some details. Cheers guys!
