Also - to get things started right I'm going to start heating up my strike water for a batch of Ken's Memory Lapse Pale Ale Variant. It will have an ever so slightly larger grain bill and I'll be using 2oz of glacier hops. 1/2 FWH and 1/2 60 min boil.

On a very similar note, I was excited when I found this site, its good to see the old board back together. I owe almost all my knowledge to the helpful people on brewboard, esp the mods.And to think, I even registered over at homebrewtalk because i was so beer-info deprived.Special thanks to MntBrewer for writing up that explanation of what happened, I've been in the dark this whole time. Seems like the site is quite active already.

We're working on that. If you have anything to contribute, please forward it to either myself or George. There's a lot of stuff to do. Scott, Keith and I (and now George and Humdum too) sorta rushed to get the site up. Now we're playing catchup to get all the other stuff finished. We don't even have a set of policies yet, which I guess goes to show you how important they are...lol.Speaking of which, no need to obfuscate your cussing. A little profanity is fine, just don't let it get outta hand, k?

No biggie dealie - gotta crawl before you walk or run. The most important thing was keeping the community together, not necessarily duplicating the "green" experience anyway, right?
