Since my two kids were born (boy/girl twins) almost 4 years ago I think I have taken that and turned it into an opportunity to brew more than ever. If your wife allows for it then I say do it. My wife lets me brew whenever I want on the weekends most of the time and says hey she is happy my hobby only takes me out to the garage so thats harmless. No I don't think you can have too much beer around even for a newborn. When I brew in the garage I tell my kids I am cooking or making my favorite drink as they say too. I don't call it beer to them as they would not understand. Its funny though their preschool put together a "book about dad" According to my son my favorite thing/activity is "cook in the garage" I read that and laughed but its true. So hey if you can take the kid and being home and run with the brewing endeavor. Cheers!!My wife keeps saying I'll still be able to brew after we have the kid (I've been in "nesting mode" lately - as in, I better make sure this kid has plenty of beer around when they're born!). Is this even possible? She's due in May and is taking a LOA from work until November.

That's pretty neat.Yeah - I'm hoping that it won't be a problem. If I can get that utility sink I want it will be much more palatable for everyone I think b/c I'll be able to do pretty much 100% of my stuff out in the garage (right now I have to clean everything in the kitchen and I have to sort of take over that space for a while). I just made the space in my cold conditioning fridge a little bit more usable (added in some MDF so I could push the kegs all the way to the back) and I realized I can fit 3 corny kegs + 2 5 gallon better bottles in there.Since my two kids were born (boy/girl twins) almost 4 years ago I think I have taken that and turned it into an opportunity to brew more than ever. Careful you do not get knocks on the door from the DEA or ATF, maybe some bleeding heart teacher took that to mean you are "cooking" something else in the garage! Its funny though their preschool put together a "book about dad" According to my son my favorite thing/activity is "cook in the garage" I read that and laughed but its true.
