Yeah, Chuck has a very comprehensive and detailed worksheet. I'd like to be able to use it, but I'm just a simple caveman lawyer and these things confuse me. I use BeerSmith software. It has a function to keep track of your stores, including prices. I don't use it because I don't necessarily keep that much on hand. I use it more for formulating my recipes, determining my boiloff and gravities, etc.Check out the one that diesel put together: Check it

I know it is not exactly what you are asking for.Beersmith has an integrated inventory feature. Plus you can create recipes and calcualtions and all kinds of stuff the homebrew would like.Does anyone have a spread sheet of the ingredients they keep on hand? You know to keep track of malt, hops, yeast, extras.Would you like to share? Too lazy and inept to do it myself. Thanks

I am still using Promash also, it works great for all the inventory items IF you pay strict attention to the details, as the inventory item must be exactly the item used in the brew session for the software to track it.Promash has an inventory feature that I use for hops. I dont really use it for anything else, but if you stuck with it, it would be pretty helpful.

Holla if you got questions. After giving guys a demo in Munich I decided I need to make a video demo, there's just so much that the learning curve makes it hard to adopt I think. Such a long TODO list... ugh.But yeah, if you use the purchasing and financial sheets too, you can use it to plan your purchases. Build a recipe then add items to purchasing that are missing from inventory, add items from purchasing to inventory when they arrive, and subtract a recipe's components from inventory when you brew it all through clicking buttons. I need to work on making this all more transparent, which I think a few videos could really help to do.Yeah, Chuck has a very comprehensive and detailed worksheet. Agreed. And like any inventory I guess it is an all-or-nothing proposal if it is going to work out. That is why I only use it for hops, but I really should use it for specialty grains as well because lately it seems like I have a ton of specialties but never the ones I need.I am still using Promash also, it works great for all the inventory items IF you pay strict attention to the details, as the inventory item must be exactly the item used in the brew session for the software to track it.
