Ok, I haven't kegged before.I bought one of these to connect to the keg. The charger connects directly to it.Posted ImageThat is the exact one. I have a ball lock keg. The problem is when I put it on the keg and put the charger on, nothing is happening. The charger is charging the small space in the disconnect, but nothing is making it in the keg. Am I just not getting the disconnect on there far enough? I'm gonna try one more thing, having the lid off the keg when I charge it to see it its just a volume thing. I had the release valve open and I figured it would flow a little more, but nothing.Any advice here would help. Thanks,Rich

The ball bearing ring in the qd should snap/pop when fully on the keg post. I'd also be careful with it if the pressure is being trapped in the disconnect. The chargers put out a lot of psi.It might also be possible the cartridge leaked out if it has been in the charger for a couple days the seal it makes isn't always perfect. It should be a noticeable "phht" when you have it connected right.

If you plan on using that to carbonate and dispense with I hope you have lots of money. Those CO2 bulbs aren't cheap. You probably would have been better off with a CO2 tank and regulator.

I think he knows this. He's just got something coming up where he's taking a keg and needs to be able to push the beer. Just can't recall if he's using the tank to carbonate or if he's priming the keg with sugar.

Priming the keg with sugar. The disconnect wasn't working due to an ID10T error. The CO2 things aren't that expensive and I have enough to last through this keg and golf tournament (10 of them).I kind of like the canisters, they are fun! I completely emptied the first one (I had the valve open on the corny to empty out the air) and the canister got really cold. I took it out and threw it to the GF, she screeched and threw it back. Big mistake. I put it down her shirt when she wasn't looking! :rolf: Cheers,Rich
